| Sumario: | In the context of Latin American indigenous resistance, the political action of indigenous women who build daily struggles in local, national and transnational articulations is examined. Based on bibliographic research, prioritizing works produced by indigenous women, and documentary research, with reference to documents produced by different expressions of indigenous women’s movements in Latin America, we investigate the contributions and paths identified by these movements in their radical critique of the current development model. The struggle of indigenous women in Latin America offers theoretical and methodological contributions for us to think of ways out of the life and death dilemma that the capitalist system has placed us in. The “territory-body”, a category claimed by indigenous women in Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala and Bolivia, for example, emerges with force and sheds light on the “ecological critique”, having much to contribute to feminist political ecology. |
