Descripción
Sumario:This article aims to analyze the adaptations of statistical graphics for Braille in textbooks for the final years of Elementary School. To reach the proposed objective, seven textbooks in Braille were analyzed based on a documental research. As main results, we identified that approximately 28% of the graphs are excluded from books and 47% undergo some change to another type of representation, the most common being: listing and table. In the preserved graphs, errors associated, above all, with problems in the scale were found. It should be noted that the modifications found and the errors are possibly due to limitations of the Braille System. In this way, we confirm the need for the development of research aimed at adapting graphics for the teaching of Statistics for blind students.
