Sumario:The general objective of this study is to understand the importance of using music as a teaching and learning tool in early childhood education. The methodology used is of a qualitative nature, based on bibliographic research and field research, serving as a support to reflect on the ability to think, create, produce and provide pleasant moments and learning in the school environment. It appears that music is an interdisciplinary learning instrument, with which various activities can be worked, in addition to having the potential to develop different skills in children. The dialogues are from professionals both in the pedagogical and music areas, which add up to a significant, contributing and precise study in the scope of research and for the knowledge of the reader of this article.
