description São Paulo State University – UNESP at Tupã, located in the west of the state, started in 2003 with Management and Agribusiness course. It was a great challenge: the creation of a new campus, a new course, especially from the point of view of the needs of the regional community. In this context, a university extension project entitled “Opiniões” emerged, which receives support from UNESP Extension Dean of and has contributed significantly to the consolidation of the course, through research,in order to develop the undergraduate course. This paper shows the results of research and events held by the project that served as the basis for monitoring the activities on campus since its creation. The monitoring carried out led to reflect on the actions implemented within and outside the academic community, from the perspective of training the subject aligned with the demands of society. The results demonstrated the relevance of this new and innovative project, and reflected the commitment for maintaining the construction of this path, fulfilling the social function of the University in contributing to regional development.

Este despliegue fue un gran desafío: para la creación de un nuevo campus, un nuevo curso, especialmente desde el punto de vista de las necesidades de la comunidad regional. En este contexto, surgió el proyecto de extensión universitaria titulado, Opiniones, que recibe el apoyo del Vice-Rector de Extensión de la UNESP y ha contribuido significativamente a en la consolidación del curso, mediante la investigación, para su desarrollo. El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar los resultados obtenidos en la investigación y eventos realizados por dicho proyecto que sirve de base para el seguimiento de las actividades realizadas en el campus desde su creación. El seguimiento realizado buscó la reflexión sobre las acciones realizadas dentro y fuera de la comunidad académica, desde la perspectiva de la formación individual de conformidad con las demandas de la sociedad. Los resultados demostraron la importancia de este proyecto innovador y reflejan el compromiso de mantener la construcción de este camino, cumpliendo la función social de la Universidad para contribuir con el desarrollo regional.O Câmpus Experimental de Tupã da Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP, localizado em Tupã, no oeste do Estado, iniciou suas atividades em 2003 com a implantação do Curso de Administração de Empresas e Agronegócios. Tal implantação foi um grande desafio: a constituição de um novo câmpus, de um novo curso, sobretudo, a partir do ponto de vista das necessidades da comunidade regional. Neste contexto surgiu o projeto de extensão universitária intitulado Opiniões, que recebe apoio da Pró-Reitoria de Extensão da UNESP e tem contribuído de forma significativa para o processo de consolidação do curso, por meio de pesquisas, visando o seu desenvolvimento. O objetivo deste artigo é mostrar os resultados obtidos em pesquisas e eventos realizados pelo referido projeto, os quais serviram de base para o monitoramento das atividades desenvolvidas desde a criação do câmpus. O monitoramento realizado levou à reflexão sobre as ações implementadas dentro e fora da comunidade acadêmica, na perspectiva da formação do indivíduo em consonância com as demandas da sociedade.
