| Sumario: | São Paulo State University – UNESP at Tupã, located in the west of the state, started in 2003 with Management and Agribusiness course. It was a great challenge: the creation of a new campus, a new course, especially from the point of view of the needs of the regional community. In this context, a university extension project entitled “Opiniões” emerged, which receives support from UNESP Extension Dean of and has contributed significantly to the consolidation of the course, through research,in order to develop the undergraduate course. This paper shows the results of research and events held by the project that served as the basis for monitoring the activities on campus since its creation. The monitoring carried out led to reflect on the actions implemented within and outside the academic community, from the perspective of training the subject aligned with the demands of society. The results demonstrated the relevance of this new and innovative project, and reflected the commitment for maintaining the construction of this path, fulfilling the social function of the University in contributing to regional development. |
