Descripción
Sumario:This research investigation examined the features and goals for teaching the daily routine of children's literacy classes (particularly, from the first to the third years of primary school), with a specific emphasis on routine and pedagogical planning. To this purpose, the object of study was the Alfaletrar Project, carried out by the Lagoa Santa municipal network in Minas Gerais. The analysis aimed to address two guiding questions: How does teaching reading manifest in everyday literacy practices? How can education networks help to promote literacy practices in public schools, ensuring that all children are literate? Rather than adopting a prescriptive or salvationist approach to thinking on teaching reading in Brazil, our aim was to broaden the discussion around inspiring and tangible measures for “literacy with method”, as Magda Soares proposed.
