| Sumario: | This article seeks to understand, from the pandemic context, the procedures adopted by telejournalism producers in six broadcasters in Belém (PA) to combat disinformation in content received via WhatsApp. The discussions are made in the light of the concepts 'Informational Disorder' (WARDLE and DERAKHSHAN, 2017; WARDLE, 2019) and 'Pseudojournalism' (TRÄSEL, 2018). To reach the objectives of this research, a qualitative approach methodology was adopted, applying an online questionnaire, between January 12 and 23, 2022, which reached 28 respondents - about half of the TV producers in the capital of Pará. The main results of this research indicate that all producers use WhatsApp in their verification routines and that the application has gained relevance in the coronavirus health crisis. They also indicate that these professionals feel responsible for combating misinformation, but face conflicts in carrying out their work, especially due to the accumulation of functions and the precariousness of the position. |
