Sumario:The objective of this short essay is to realize an analysis and reflection about the Physical Education in the context that the new high school is designed. For this to be possible, it is necessary to recognize in this scenario a subtle identity crisis and how that also promotes and disseminates the perspective for new pedagogical and methodological practices through the curriculum provided by the Common National Curriculum Base. Therefore, to develop this analysis we based on the guiding documents, legislation and authors who comment on the proposed theme. The method used in this study was bibliographic and from all the synthesis made, we consider a new look of the Physical Education teacher necessary, in view of this new scenario that presents itself, with a view to new work proposals and interventions that meet the needs of youth 21st century.
