Its main objective is to assess the model of student evaluation, in force since the creation of the Lisbon Conservatory of Music, linked to Casa Pia, which has basically remained until today, and focuses on the change envisaged by Ordinance nº 243-B/2012 of 13 August, which introduces the concept evaluation for the development of a project and its presentation. It concludes that this evaluation model breaks with the concept of traditional evaluated based on exams.Este artigo de reflexão discorre sobre o ensino da música em Portugal, nomeadamente o que ocorre nos Conservatórios e Academias de Música, refere as dificuldades com que este tipo de ensino se debate, as tentativas de inserção desta área no sistema geral de ensino e a problemática da avaliação em música. Tem como principal objetivo fazer uma apreciação do modelo de avaliação dos alunos, vigente desde a criação do Conservatório de Música de Lisboa, ligado à Casa Pia, que se manteve basicamente até aos nossos dias, e centra-se na mudança perspectivada pela Portaria nº 243-B/2012, de 13 de agosto, que introduz o conceito de avaliação pelo desenvolvimento de um projeto e sua apresentação.
