| Sumario: | This reflection article discusses the teaching of music in Portugal, namely what happens in the Conservatories and Academies of Music, refers to the difficulties in which this type of education faces, the attempts to insert this area in the general education system and the problem of music evaluation. Its main objective is to assess the model of student evaluation, in force since the creation of the Lisbon Conservatory of Music, linked to Casa Pia, which has basically remained until today, and focuses on the change envisaged by Ordinance nº 243-B/2012 of 13 August, which introduces the concept evaluation for the development of a project and its presentation.
