Moreover, the article proposes an analytical development of the audiovisual procedures and the narrative mechanisms applied. In this sense, for the narrative analysis of Cuarón’s film, the semiotic concepts of the semantic field and the narrative point of view are used.El artículo propone una aproximación a la película Roma de Alfonso Cuarón a partir de la descripción y el señalamiento del contexto de su realización, los personajes involucrados en la trama y los escenarios que se muestran y sirven para ambientar y darle sentido a la narración. Asimismo, el artículo propone un desarrollo analítico de los procedimientos audiovisuales y de los mecanismos narrativos aplicados. En tal sentido, para el análisis narrativo de la película de Cuarón se utilizan los conceptos semióticos de campo semántico y punto de vista narrativo.O artigo propõe uma aproximação ao filme Roma de Alfonso Cuarón a partir da descrição e da ambientação do contexto de sua realização, dos personagens envolvidos na trama e dos cenários que se mostram e servem para ambientar e dar sentido à narrativa. Da mesma forma, o artigo propõe um desenvolvimento analítico dos procedimentos audiovisuais e dos mecanismos narrativos aplicados.
