The interest in reviewing this subject results from this fact as it could be relevant to understand, through the study of social networks, both the political and administrative organization that gave rise to a new independent state.Este artículo indaga acerca del papel que le cupo a la mujer en la definición de las relaciones de solidaridad familiar, las que también se extendieron a otros miembros de la sociedad, y cómo dichas relaciones pudieron haber contribuido a la cohesión de la sociedad colonial, aspecto vital de la administración castellana. Aquellos lazos solidarios habrían permanecido en estado de subyacencia y sobrevivido a la crisis independentista rioplatense, contribuyendo a la reorganización de la sociedad.
