description This Thesis is a research report done in Universidad Rovira i Virgili in Terragona about Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ) related to the nowadays use of the Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) from the administrative managers, academics and students´ points of view. The main objective is to analyze the institutional strategy of UAQ to integrate the Information and Communication Technologies from the teachers and pupils point of view. In order to do it, the following specific objectives were established: ·To obtain information from the people who is responsible for the projection in the Institutional developmental plan to integrate TIC in UAQ.·Analyze from the academic perspective the presence of TIC in UAQ.·Analyze from the academic perspective the technical mastery and the didactic use of the TIC ·Analyze from the academic perspective the existing training programs in the instrumental technical and didactic use of TIC.·Analyze from the students´ perspective the frequency and utility in the use of TIC.·Analyze from the students´ perspective their mastery in the use of the TIC·Analyze the students´ use and mastery of the computer·Analyze the students' level of acquisition of the TIC basic competencies. As part of the conclusions of this research, relevant strategic lines to integrate TIC in UAQ are realized and proposed, supported by the results of the research. The structure of this report is organized in five chapters. In the first chapter, the fundamental axis of the research problem is introduced. In the second chapter, there is a description of the UAQ, as object of the study. In the third chapter, the methodological design used in the research is introduced. Para ello se planteo los siguientes objetivos específicos.·Obtener información de los Responsables Institucionales sobre la proyección que se contempla dentro del plan de desarrollo institucional para la integración de las TIC en la UAQ..Analizar desde la perspectiva de los profesores la presencia de las TIC en la UAQ.·Analizar desde la perspectiva del profesor el dominio técnico y didáctico del uso de las TIC.·Analizar desde la perspectiva del profesor la existencia de programas de formación para el uso técnico instrumental y didáctico de las TIC·Analizar desde la perspectiva de los alumnos la frecuencia y la utilidad de uso de las TIC.·Analizar desde la perspectiva del alumno el dominio que éste tiene en el uso de las TIC.·Analizar el uso y dominio que el alumno le da a la computadora.·Analizar el nivel de adquisición de competencias básicas TIC de los estudiantesComo parte de las conclusiones de esta investigación, y con base en los resultados de la investigación, se concretan y se plantean líneas estratégicas relevantes para la integración de las TIC en la UAQ.
