Sumario:Nowadays, in full knowledge society, the incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education at all levels can cause problems to educational institutions. The constant contact of the new generations with ICT and its use in all kinds of activities makes teacher training in the use of the technologies necessary from their initial training. It’s essential to make them aware of the methodological changes to its implementation in classrooms. The tasks of ICT training for teachers in their formative stages may provide the basis for future professional development, establishing a framework for lifelong learning. One of the main strategies of training in the use of ICT is based on collaborative online learning activities through Internet. From our point of view, online collaboration can enhance the initial training of teachers. Taking these and other reflections as a starting point, this thesis was originated. We decided, first, an initial diagnosis on the perception of our students on their third teaching ICT skills, then develop an intervention from the application of a Virtual Resource Center of Technology Education as part of the core course 'New Technologies Applied to Education', performing collaborative activities among students at the University Rovira i Virgili and University of Lleida. The first major section of this thesis, or theoretical framework and reference, is composed by sections like the process of introducing ICT in to Higher Education institutions, ICT and teaching resources, teachers training in basic ICT skills, the main methods of collaborative work and project based learning, and previous studies to our research.
