Sumario:This article presents some reflections, understandings and problematizations about the path of theoretical / methodological appropriation of Textual Discursive Analysis (ATD - in Portuguese). With a qualitative emphasis, the research that underlies this article intended to understand how the process of learning, about regard to the elements of ATD, makes it possible to expand the comprehensive horizons inherent to the dimension of qualitative research. The understandings presented in this text emerge from the analysis of the transcription of two videos, produced by the undergraduate students enrolled in the Topics component of the Discursive Textual Analysis in the Teaching of Chemistry, linked to the experiences lived by the researchers with this methodology while researching in different spaces and levels. The analysis exercise was anchored in two investigations, of which we can mention: the backwards ATD, proposed by Bartelmebs (2020), and the analysis of the word to the concept, according to the perspective presented by Moreno-Rodriguez (2020). Through this movement it was possible to understand that the theoretical / methodological appropriation of ATD is outlined as an exercise in understanding words and concepts, in addition to overcoming understandings of Science centered on objectivity and the separation between subject and object. In view of the above, appropriating the dimensions inherent in DTA involves reading, writing and dialoguing and allowing to complexify the knowledge inherent, not only in its research theme, but also in the organization of writing in the academic dimension, the construction and validity of good arguments and the knowledge and actions in qualitative research.
