Descripción
Sumario:Religious Education can help build a society of pluralista cultures and democracies, as long as its fundaments are deepened and appropriate methodologies developed. In order to collaborate in this sense, the present essay demonstrates that a transdisciplinary approach helps to create dialogical content in the field of Religious Studies and to translate pedagogically, in processes of libertarian learning, such asreligious knowledge for a secular, plural and republican Religious Education. The area of knowledge of Religious Studies emerged to interpret the experiences of the sacred, open to the complementarity of the scientific disciplines and based on an epistemology of the controversies. In a line of development of an interdisciplinar methodology, transdisciplinarity can develop these scientific-cultural foundations, building knowledge through and beyond the sciences, engendering a transcultural and transreligious attitude in our studies of religion, which is very appropriate for its application to Religious Education.
