Description
Summary:This work aims to bring reflections on the reality of Religious Education in the state of Amapá and the proposal of creating the first Bachelor of Religious Studies in the state. This is the result of an exploratory study, of qualitative nature, which adopted the literature search and document analysis as a form of research. At first, we discuss the challenges and diffi culties of teachers of religious education in the state. Next, we present a brief analysis of proposal for creating a Bachelor of Religious Studies at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP), taking into consideration the history of the proposal, its objectives, epistemological conception, difficulties, and the importance of this course to the Amapá society.
