Resumo:This publication is the result of research carried out over a half in a discipline taught in the course of Distance Pedagogy to IFES and aims to discuss the practices and methodologies in the development of discipline and the perception of students on the course, tutors to distance and presencial. The aim was to question and reflect on the practice of distance education in analyzed for this, the speech of students, main subjects of teaching and whose demands and needs guide the organization of teaching practice. For this, a search was conducted of a qualitative approach (TRIVIÑOS, 1987) and for collecting data, were used self-assessments and evaluations of tutors and teachers conducted students at the end of discipline in the 1st half of 2008. With this study, is expected to be able to contribute with the practices adopted and the training of professionals working in the form of distance learning, since, from the studies, believe to be of fundamental importance to achievement of initial training and continuous with professionals, in particular, the tutors face and distance, as are those who maintain direct and daily contact with students.
