| Resumo: | This article presents a preliminary analysis of a research that investigates the contributions of Distance Education in the ongoing training of in - service mathematics teachers with activities of Mathematical Modeling, in the blended mode. Because it is a clipping, only the limitations found in the development of the training process are analyzed as a way of identifying and proposing corrections for future course offerings. The training process involved math teachers in service for a period of three months, totaling one hundred hours, which was mediated by the Moodle virtual learning environment. Activities were performed reading scientific articles and activities of Mathematical Modeling to allow theoretical and practical appropriation about the pedagogical alternative of Mathematics. The research was qualitative and data collection was done using the tools available in Moodle, such as chat, forum, and notes (memorials) produced by the students during the course. The analysis of the data presented in this article was based on the discursive textual analysis that allowed to categorize the data collected, interpret them and translate them, evidencing the statements of the students. The analyzes indicated some limitations on the ED in the offer of the continuing training course, but that can be surpassed for the offer of other courses in this modality and that did not invigorate the objective of the course that was the professional development of the students. |
