Researchers of the needs analysis area played an important role in the procedures followed for this study and the discussion of the findings. The approach aims essentially at knowing the most important and frequent activities in the daily routine of the bilingual secretary, as well as the necessary skills and means of communication to do them. The final results will make it possible to teach the subject English language more appropriately in the Secretarial Course at Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo, making it compatible with the demands of the job market today.O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar os resultados de um levantamento de atividades feito junto a profissionais de secretariado que atuam em grandes empresas na cidade de São Paulo e que utilizam como uma de suas ferramentas de trabalho a língua inglesa. As posições e os resultados de trabalhos de autores importantes da área de análise de necessidades nortearam os procedimentos adotados para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, bem como a discussão dos dados finais. O levantamento visou essencialmente a trazer à tona as atividades secretariais mais importantes e frequentes na rotina diária da secretária bilíngue, bem como as habilidades e os meios de comunicação necessários para seu desempenho.
