Sumario:Review of the book "Informalidad en America Latina: ¿Un debate actual?" (edited by Roberto Véras de Oliveira, Paula Varela and Ana María Calderón), which summarizes research results and discussions held as part of the LatWork Project "Developing research and innovation capacities of Latin-American HEI for the analysis of informal labour market". It is a collection of 15 chapters by more than 50 authors, who approach the subject of informality in a very diverse way. The book is divided into two parts. The first contains eight chapters that seek to update the theoretical debate on this issue. The second is made up of seven chapters that reflect studies carried out on the thematic axes of the LatWork Project.
