Descripción
Sumario:This systematic literature review aimed to identify the relationships established among cinema, Science and teaching (with a greater focus on cartoons and animated films) in theses, dissertations and articles published in the period from 2006 to 2017. The research was carried out using Scielo data basis and the Brazilian Digital Library of theses and dissertations of IBICT, using the search terms “cartoon” or “animation” or “movie theater” and “Science”. Among the works initially found, twenty met the inclusion criteria. It was found that most of them were limited to an in-depth analysis of the film productions, whereas only one study analyzed and applied this resource in the school environment. The results showed there are few studies which directly relate Science and some film products, such as cartoons, especially considering specific areas of Science Education, such as the STS (Science, Technology and Society) approach.
