Descrição
Resumo:In debates on rural education and popular education, the aim is to historicize the struggles of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) in the educational agenda. In this context, the focus is on the state of Espírito Santo, with a view to recalling the formative trajectory resulting from the articulations with public institutions, in the development of the partnerships that led to the Teaching and Pedagogy of Land courses. The data obtained from the research, which was carried out in the framework of a doctoral course, shows the importance and necessity of the university in this process. With references based on Paulo Freire and Mikhail Bakhtin, the importance of MST in the lives of the course participants is reaffirmed, as well as the access possibility to higher education resulting from the National Program for Education in Agrarian Reform (PRONERA) and, consequently, the contribution to the process of teacher training in rural subjects, as well as the strengthening of MST.
