| Sumario: | This dissertation intends to analyze the homonymous works Vidas secas by Graciliano Ramos (1938) and Nelson Pereira dos Santos (1963), in the light of contemporary theories about the film adaptations. Using as methodology the literature and documents, aims to make the links between the two works, from their similarities and specific aesthetic and contextual, with the main bridge for the dialogue with the elements of storytelling. It also aims to increase knowledge of the circumstances of each expressive, cinema and literature. Justifies the choice of theme Vidas secas because the relevance of works and authors in the development of means of artistic expression that took part, as well as having a plot theme, also very contemporary. |
