| Sumario: | In this paper we analyze the evolution of Brazilian academic production on Black feminism and intersectionality between 1992 and 2020, through a bibliometric analysis and scraping data from papers published in Journals in the areas of social sciences and humanities (A1, A2 and B1). We highlight the impact of international flows in disseminating and deepening research agendas on Black women from the 2000s onwards and the importance of thematic dossiers on gender and race in high-impact journals as an inducing mechanism for the expansion of scientific production on the themes. Our findings show that there has been a continuous increase in papers on Black feminism and intersectionality in the last decade, suggesting that greater access by Black students to higher education and the expansion of the public debate on intersectionality outside academia may be generating feedback on the interest and relevance of the topic. |
