| Sumario: | This paper analyses perceptions of the Alfenas and Fama populations concerning the Furnas’ lake. It utilizes memoirists, newspapers and inhabitant testimonies. It concludes that the trajectory of these perceptions is related to different forms of appropriation and relationship with the lake, passing from a negative image to other, positive. The dam went “naturalized” and incorporated in the regional quotidian. |
