Supported by the philosophical and methodological principles of narratives (Barthes, 2009; Bosi, 2003; Souza, 2006), it was woven together by plotting important aspects of an artistic/educational experience experienced in basic education, which also collaborated with the process of transformation of the professor that I am, for the time being, since this formative and transformative process is inexhaustible. The narrative here exposed has became complex because it embraced, in its composition, the implications of being reflective and poetic, seeking to understand the daily life of classes experienced with high school students, from the Lyceu de Goiânia Full-Time Teaching College (CEPI), in its multiplicity and simultaneity of senses and meanings. Inspired by the Work Project (Hernández, 2000) called Photographic expeditions: getting to know Art Deco from the Lyceu de Goiânia College, the students who chose to take the Art elective subject have expanded their knowledge and photographic practices, as well as their understanding of the Art Deco and Colonial movements, which, politically and strategically, were chosen to design the school where they studied.Esta narrativa partilha experiências singulares do processo de aprender a ensinar Artes Visuais vivido por mim, o autor. Apoiada nos princípios filosóficos e metodológicos das narrativas (Barthes, 2009; Bosi, 2003; Souza, 2006), foi tecida tramando aspectos importantes de uma experiência artística/educativa experenciada na educação básica, que também colaborou com o processo de transformação do professor que sou, ou melhor, que estou, visto que esse processo formativo e transformativo é inacabável. A narrativa aqui exposta tornou-se complexa porque acolheu, em sua tessitura, as implicações de ser reflexiva e poética, buscando a compreensão do cotidiano das aulas vividas com as/os estudantes do Ensino Médio, do Colégio de Ensino em Período Integral (CEPI) Lyceu de Goiânia, em sua multiplicidade e simultaneidade de sentidos e significados.
