Descripción
Sumario:In this work, we investigate the function of argumentative aspects overlapped in the recategorization process without mention of referential expression in the analysis of verb-imagery memes, which thematizes the high school reform proposal in Brazil. For that, we consider as theorical basis the works of Custódio Filho (2011) and Lima e Cavalcante (2015), in the area of recategorization studies, and the study of Pinto (2016), in argumentation study scope, which has proposed a set of categories for analysis of persuasive genres. Considering the universe of this research, the results demonstrate that the argumentative strategies connected in the process of recategorization without mention of the referential expression maintain a significant value for the construction of meanings in the verb-imagery memes.
