Are these premonitory narratives of genetic manipulation, pharmacological interference and aesthetic procedures, or just a means of exposing the transformations that humanity has been going through the last few years? To what extent does the human being continue to be human and to what extent can its nature be altered from its mutations? The boundaries between human and posthuman, interlaced by the figure of the cyborg, are constantly explored in fictional narratives, especially in science fiction works. Stemming from this and other figurations of the posthuman, such as artificial intelligences, androids and humans connected to cyberspace, this essay aims to raise questions from the possible bodies in/of utopias and dystopias, dialoguing with a series of intermedia references, highlighting posthuman bodies of science fiction narratives and ontological issues linked to them.Em um momento em que as narrativas distópicas parecem extrapolar suas fronteiras ficcionais, as utopias se fazem cada vez mais necessárias. Mas o que utopias e distopias têm a nos dizer sobre os corpos que (re)produzem, especialmente a partir do viés da relação entre o corpo e a tecnologia, tão intrínseca à atual existência humana? Seriam estas narrativas premonitórias da manipulação genética, da interferência farmacológica e dos procedimentos estéticos, ou apenas um meio de expor as transformações pelas quais a humanidade vem passando ao longo dos últimos anos? Até onde o ser humano continua a ser humano e até onde a sua natureza pode ser alterada a partir das suas mutações? As fronteiras entre o humano e o pós-humano, entrecruzadas pela figura do ciborgue, são constantemente exploradas nas narrativas de ficção, principalmente nas obras de ficção científica.
