| Sumario: | This paper analyses the production of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies on the social network TikTok, to understand the motivations of an organizational content creator, in response to the motivations of the users, in a platform that is still little studied by academia. In documenting this experience, it aims to add, to theoretical debates about public communication, the role of entertainment as a resource of attraction, breaking resistance, resignification of values, image positioning, and political education. Through an own methodology for performance evaluation, it is observed that the materials with most views come from a more self-centered initiative by the Chamber, whereas those with most engagement follow TikTok trendings, demonstrating the importance of combining both perspectives of sender and receiver, as well as those of the app and the context. |
