Descrição
Resumo:The present work is a report of experiences about racial literacy and the appreciation of ethnic-racial and gender diversity carried out with students in the sixth semester of the pedagogy course, within the curricular component Interdisciplinary Extension and Research Center IV, offered in the course of XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, of the State University of Bahia (UNEB), XXXXXXXXXXXXX. Despite the election of twenty indigenous and Afro-Brazilian activists, the main focus of this text is anti-racist education considering ten Afro-Brazilian activists, as recommended by laws 10,639/2003 and 11,645/2008. In addition to the contributions of these black women in the political context, we highlight the strength, wisdom and determination of three of them in facing oppressive systems, such as: capitalism, patriarchy, racism and machismo.
