Sumario:The present article analyzes the transformations and urbanization in Presidente Prudente - SP, from the changes that have occurred over time. It also analyzes the performance of the Encalso Damha Group and the adoption, by the group, of financialization strategies and instruments for the production and financing of its enterprises, through the launching of assets backed by its enterprises, the Real Estate Receivables Certificates. We also highlight the transformations that have occurred in the city and the redefinitions in the center-periphery pair resulting, among other things, from the implementation of closed residential spaces in the geographic peripheries of the city, and which has as one of the references of the production of this type of enterprise, the Damha group. The analysis of these new processes is based on two concepts fundamental to urban studies: Urbanization and Restructuring. Questioning the impacts of the implementation of these enterprises and the emergence of new processes in the city.
