Descrição
Resumo:Aflatoxins was employed in samples of peanut and peanut products exposed for consumation in Recife City. Determined through thin-layer-chromatography were detected aflatoxins in 9 (21 %) of the 43 analysed samples. In one of these samples the amount of aflatoxins was found to be 25 µg.kg-1. The others had more than 30µg.kg1 which is the maximum concentration tolerated by pertinent brazilian legislation. The results call the attention for need of continued and effective control on the levels of aflatoxin in these productions.
