Descrição
Resumo:This integrative review of the Brazilian scientific production aimed at understanding the repercussions of home-office in both work and family contexts. The BVS-Psi database was consulted using describers such as “home-office”, “remote work”, and “telework”. A total of 301 references were retrieved, among which eight articles were selected based on eligibility criteria. Results indicate a dearth in national productions on the issue. On one hand, remote workers perceive greater autonomy and flexibility in their work; on the other hand, they have adaptation difficulties in infrastructure and time management. In regards to family life, although interaction conditions have expanded with home-office, there are challenges in fulfilling daily chores of housework and family care, which demands the use of negotiation strategies. Discussion posits that home-office labor mobilizes a broad process to reorganize individuals’ personal, professional, and relational lives.
