| Resumo: | Museums have used digital technologies to enrich their audiences experience. Although several previous works reported adoption of digital technologies in museums, little has been investigated about visitors use of these digital resources. This work begins with report of QRCodes in the exhibition “Vibrant Paths: modern ideals for Natal city” at the Câmara Cascudo Museum in late 2019. Then, we describe a quantitative descriptive study of QRCodes access for three months after the exhibition opened. We analyze the amount of: total museum visitors, visitors who accessed any QRCode in the exhibition, QRCodes accessed and time when visitors keep digital content open. We calculate totals, media, percentages, standard deviations, and time distributions. Only 2,29% of museum visitors consulted any QRCode from the "Vibrantes Caminhos" exhibition, with an average of 1,75 QRCodes consulted for 1 minute and 45 seconds per visitor per day. The results of QRCodes use in the "Vibrantes Caminhos" exhibition were compared with the results in the Icnologia exhibition (SILVA, 2020), which occurred previously at the same museum. Finally, this comparison was discussed with questions for future investigations. |
