Description
Summary:The present work aims to approach the essential postulates of decolonial theory from a critical perspective, based on the theoretical considerations that, in general, appear in the statements of its main expositors. The theme is current and theoretically unprecedented because its positions fall within the current of "Latin American critical thought". A logical and historical perspective is used to explain the directionality of the general conceptions that support, especially, the link with praxis and critical urgencies that characterize the Latin American continent. The above is outlined using the method of qualitative analysis, which makes it possible to explain with a critical view the arguments supported by decolonial theory to form a genuinely Latin American thought and overcome the barriers of "westernization" and Europeanizing paradigms.
