Descripción
Sumario:The Rural Family Houses and the Pedagogy of Alternation have produced knowledge that articulates the peasant ancestry, and historically systematized knowledge in a territorial emancipatory process. Since its origin in 1935, the school-community connection has favored the permanence of young people in the countryside in political-social relations that are part of a transformative praxis. This article aims to give visibility to the lives of graduates of Três Vendas Rural Family House High School (Brazil) and Agricultural School House Campo Verde (Portugal), in the knowledge ecology of these Southern Epistemologies. The qualitative research used interviews, experiences, and observations and it has identified the appropriation of space that recognizes, validates, and formalizes the resistance knowledge to agribusiness. In the interculturality of the epistemological peasant territory, these schools are an alternative to education and peasant emancipation.
