Resumo:The reflections presented derive from fieldwork at the Mergulhão Camp and its Rural Tourism Circuit in São José dos Pinhais known as the Wine Path. Therefore, this article aimed at bringing a look beyond the conceptual rules inherent to rural tourism from the sociology point of view, and with it, several elements of the rural tourism setting start to have a crucial role and, naturally, are viewed by visitors at Mergulhão Camp. The methodological approach was through participant observation and field notes. As a result, we realized that the Mergulhão Cologne is not only represented by its rural tourism circuit, but by its immutability and its ability to reinvent itself in the face of the complexity of its own modernity.
