| Sumario: | This text discusses communication and information technology having as support the theory of innovation and some concepts of complexity and chaos to point out how technological innovation has been changing the world. It shows that the advancements in communications are followed by some attempts of censorship and then reflects about COVID-19 pandemic and the diffusion of innovation. A digression is made to tell the history of the Internet in Brazil followed by the claim that we were on the way to the diffusion stage of normalization when the pandemic forced teachers and students to migrate to the virtual world. |
