After analysis, 8 publications were selected to compose the final sample. The results highlighted the quality of nursing care, with an emphasis on affection, love and humanization in care. In addition, it is worth highlighting the importance of effective communication between nursing team professionals as a strategy to promote humanized care, which strengthens the therapeutic bond, facilitates the physical and emotional recovery of patients and provides greater comfort to families. Therefore, human-centered care contributes to a more collaborative work environment, positively impacting the quality of care.Este estudo tem como objetivo descrever o cuidado de enfermagem em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) por meio de uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura. A pesquisa foi realizada em bases de dados científicas, como LILACS, MEDLINE e BDENF, com artigos publicados entre 2019 e novembro de 2024, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol. Após análise, foram selecionadas 8 publicações para compor a amostra final. Os resultados destacaram a qualidade da assistência de enfermagem, com ênfase no carinho, amor e humanização no atendimento. Além disso,vale ressaltar a importância da comunicação eficaz entre os profissionais da equipe de enfermagem como estratégia para promover o cuidado humanizado, o que fortalece o vínculo terapêutico, facilita a recuperação física e emocional dos pacientes e proporciona maior conforto às famílias.
