Descripción
Sumario:The Brazilian 2017 High School Reform represents a structural change in Brazilian public education and is part of a broader horizon of reforms adapted to the “new spirit of neoliberalism”, understood as the prevailing rationality of the current phase of Capitalism. We seek to investigate the affinities between the discourse of the 2017 reform, especially in the Common National Curricular Base for High School, and the construction of a neoliberal subjectivity in high school education. Supported by the Discourse Analysis method, we anchored ourselves in the notions of “life project” and “entrepreneurship” to analyze three excerpts from the Base, in which we highlight the pillars for a pedagogy of adapting the subject to the precept of the “entrepreneur of the self”.
