Field Checklists were the methodologyused for the determination of the current state of dunes inspecific sectors of the coast, which had been applied to theNorth and South of the state. The integrated analysis of thebiophysical and anthrop conditioning factors detached the highanthropogenic degradation as the main responsibility for thelevel of vulnerability found in the Southern Coast and alreadyin part of North. The elements of the coastal dynamics, theexample of the intensity of an aeolian circulation in associationwith the accretion/erosion processes into dunes, are the onesthat determine the vulnerability index.O presente estudo envolveu a proposição de geoindicadoressocioambientais para avaliar os fenômenos biofísicos e osfatores antrópicos contribuintes à vulnerabilidade dos sistemasdunares de Sergipe. Como metodologia, foram aplicadas listasde controle de campo (field checklists) para determinaçãodo estado atual das dunas em setores específicos do LitoralNorte e Sul do estado. A análise integrada dos condicionantesbiofísicos e antrópicos destacou a elevada degradaçãoantrópica como principal responsável pelo nível de vulnerabilidadeencontrado no Litoral Sul.
