| Sumario: | The present work is a case study in two state schools in the city of Marmeleiro/PR: Colégio Estadual de Marmeleiro – EFM and Colégio Estadual Telmo Octávio Müller – EFN. The article seeks to understand how the implementation of the New High School is taking place, in compliance or not (its implementation), with the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) - emphasis on the Teaching of Geography – also relating to the formative itineraries and life projects that the BNCC do Ensino Médio has presented since 2019. The materialization of this work points to concerns about what the future of the discipline of Geography will be like and how high school is changing its character, each day more technicist. With this in mind, we sought to understand the Teaching of Geography in High School, from the analysis of the BNCC of High School and other guiding documents (DCE-PR/2008; LDB/1996), a review of the theorists of Education and Teaching of Geography (Arroyo, 2013; Cavalcanti, 2012; Bernardes and Francischett, 2021; Callai, 2001; Japiassu, 1995; Moura And Oliveira, 2020; Saviani, 2008; Straforini, 2004; Tébar, 2011). And, finally, the exploration or diagnosis of interviews with Geography teachers who work with the final years of Basic Education, in the only two schools that offer this level of education in the city, indicating serious problems in the execution or implementation of the New High School. |
