This means theprevious 80 year old limit for abdominal aorta aneurysmsurgery should no longer be taken into account.Se presentan 12 observaciones de pacientes entre 80 y 94años de edad, operados en condiciones de emergenciapor rotura de aneurisma de aorta abdominal. Todospresentaban severa descompensación hemodinámica alingreso.Los aneurismas habían sido diagnosticados previamenteen 9 casos, pero la operación se había descartado por laedad avanzada de los pacientes y contraindicaciones delpunto de vista médico.Seis fallecieron.
