Resumo:The authors present a case of mesenteric vascularocclusion as a comp/ication of selective arteriography withembolization of intercostal arteries used as treatment forrecidivistic hemoptysis. The indications, contraindicationsand complications of the procedure are analyzed, as we/1as the therapeutical surgery emp/oyed when faced withthis exceptional situation. They emphasize the importanceof e/ose surveyance of the patient for some hours after theprocedure.
