Sumario:The concepts of philosophy and method play a major role in Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus. However, their understanding is very complex as it requires a rigorous study of the other concepts associated with them. Now that there exists a mathematical theory that can be applied to logic, model theory, the use of that theoretical framework should be very beneficial to the understanding of the Tractatus. This contribution‘s main objective therefore concerns the clarifications of the concepts of both philosophy and method through the analysis of propositions 1 to 5 using model theory.
