| Resumo: | The topic of the present paper is Mexican youth´s political participation, taking into account several explicative variables, such as trust in political institutions, political efficacy, social capital, as well as international studies on youth and politics that treat the concepts of cohort effect or life cycle effect. The last part of the article presents a quantitative analysis of a survey realized in July of 2011. |
