| Resumo: | Electoral processes in Latin America have refined a set of experiences that could well constitute comparative lessons for the countries of the region aimed at improving the quality of their electoral processes. The present contribution, in this sense, analyze to what extent electoral reform processes can lead to better representation, participation, inclusion and electoral governance. Taking into account regional experiences, a balance is made of the Mexican case and the changes that could be promoted of determined, concentrating specially on the electoral administration and its management processes, the financing of politics, the internal democracy of political parties, reelection, electoral systems, independent candidates, technology and voting abroad. |
