| Resumo: | Ciudad Juarez is today considered a metropolis, but at the end of the 19th century, it was just a village, then, at the beginning of the 20th, its growth and “modernization” began. In this research, it is intended to explain the evolution of the physical configuration of this border urban territory, during the period 1880-1920, through documentary and historiographical research, in addition to analyzing maps of the period, through various variables, which help to be able to distinguish areas of growth. The observed results explain how these influenced their peculiar configuration. |
