| Resumo: | The current state of affairs in democratic-electoral matters in our country, still poses a series of challenges for the public institutions in charge of ensuring constitutional order and continuing to contribute to the creation of a true State of Law. In this sense, the 2020-2021 electoral period that gives federal legislators the opportunity to be reelected for the first time in almost a century, undoubtedly marks a milestone in the history and democratic life of our country, whose consequences and implications are still the subject of a well-deserved public debate, since there is no certainty about the possibility of a mechanism that will truly strengthen our democratic-electoral system. |
